Why Trinetra exists

Indian SMBs deserve better than this.

We spent a year watching small businesses across India try to run their sales on WhatsApp. A real-estate agent in Bengaluru with 600 leads in personal WhatsApp, no idea which agent replied to whom. A coaching academy in Pune juggling 12 admissions counsellors over a single shared phone. A wholesale jewellery seller in Mumbai losing follow-ups every Diwali season because their inbox is just chronological chaos.

Most of the platforms they were sold are messaging tools with a CRM tab bolted on. They charge a markup on Meta\'s message costs. They hide the real cost of a broadcast behind opaque plan tiers. They expect a small-business owner to learn English-first, US-priced software, then translate every workflow back into how their team actually works.

We built Trinetra because a CRM-first product, with WhatsApp as the primary channel, and pricing that respects how Indian SMBs actually budget — is what the market needs. Not a messaging-platform-in-disguise. Not a venture-funded growth machine optimising for ARR. A product we would pay for, if we were running our family business in 2026.

Our story

Built by a team that grew up around Indian SMBs.

Trinetra is built by people who grew up around small-business families — the kind that run their entire pipeline through phone calls, ledger books, and now WhatsApp. The gap between what software is capable of and what those families can actually use is what convinced us to start Trinetra. Founded by Raj Kumar Upadhyay in 2026.

Starting small, in 2026, is intentional. A small team can be opinionated. A small team can hold a quality bar that bigger teams water down. Trinetra is the product we wished existed when we were helping family-business friends pick a CRM. Now we're building it the way we think it should be built — not the way fastest-to-revenue says we should.

For the first 100 customers, our core team answers every email personally — chat, phone, escalation. You will not get a tier-1 support ticket maze. You will get the team building the code you're running. After 100 we hire, but the direct line stays open for as long as it usefully scales.

Five things we refuse to compromise on.

These are the rules we set ourselves before writing a single line of Trinetra. They are visible in every decision the product makes.

UI must visibly beat the category

Most WhatsApp CRMs in this space feel utilitarian. Every Trinetra screen passes a "would a friend say wow?" test before it merges. Motion, typography, whitespace, custom illustrations — all non-negotiable.

Backend defaults to the strictest secure option

No shortcuts on auth, secrets, rate limiting, audit logging. bcrypt cost 12+, HMAC webhooks, DPDP-aligned by design, audit log for every privileged action. When in doubt, pick the safer setting.

Direct team support for the first 100

Our core team answers every email personally for the first 100 customers. Chat, email, phone — direct line to the people who build the product. No tier-1 ticket triage maze. Once we are past 100 we hire, but the bar stays.

Two-bill structure with zero markup

You pay Trinetra for software. You pay Meta directly for messages. We never sit between you and Meta on charges, and we never mark them up. Every rupee is auditable.

India-first, not India-also

Hinglish-native templates, GST-ready invoicing, DPDP-aligned data handling, Mumbai-region hosting. Not "global product translated to Hindi" — built around how Indian SMBs actually work. Hindi-fluent AI replies arrive with the Pro plan.

The public marketing site you are reading is Phase 0 — it goes live once legal review and Meta restriction cleanup wrap. Phase 2 (broadcast, drip, bot builder, advanced analytics) is the next 6 weeks of work, ending in a soft launch with 5–10 hand-picked pilots.

No fake customer counts. We will publish real numbers when they are real and meaningful.
