Questions worth asking before you trust the number.
Where does the Meta per-message price come from?
Meta publishes per-conversation rates in USD on their developer docs. Our ₹0.86 figure is a Trinetra-side normalisation to "per delivered marketing message" at current INR FX — the same number drives the cost calculator on /pricing. Service messages (replies inside the 24-hour customer-initiated window) are free per Meta's rules and not counted. Source: Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API pricing page.
Why is the default conversion rate only 3%?
It is intentionally conservative. Meta publishes click-through and engagement rates for WhatsApp campaigns, not purchase conversion — and the two are different (click-through is "they tapped the message", purchase is "they paid"). Conversion to paying customer varies widely by industry, list quality, and offer. Starting at 3% avoids over-promising; calibrate to your own past campaigns.
Does the ROI account for the time my team spends?
No — this estimator covers direct costs only (Meta charges + Trinetra subscription). Internal time, content creation, ad spend driving contacts to your list, refund / return rates, and other operating costs are not modelled. Treat the output as a directional input to your own P&L, not a replacement for it.
Is the calculation saved or sent anywhere?
No. The math runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, no email is captured, no account is created. What if my actual ROI is worse than the estimate?
Likely causes: list quality below your conversion assumption, message-relevance lower than expected, AOV inflated, or part of the cost flowing into ad spend / staff time the model ignores. Re-run with realistic numbers, talk to the founder if you want a second pair of eyes.
Is GST charged on the plan prices shown?
Prices are final — no GST currently charged (Bill of Supply per Rule 49, CGST Rules 2017). Once Trinetra crosses the GST threshold and registers, the FAQ on /pricing will surface a tax invoice with full input-tax-credit support.
